Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) 2012/19/EU sets collection, recycling and recovery targets for electrical goods and is part of a legislative initiative to solve the problem of huge amounts of toxic e-waste. As part of complying with the EU WEEE Directive, Intronix Technologies will provide information that may be necessary for the appropriate treatment/recycling, at end of life, of our products placed on the European market. Treatment facility representatives can contact us to obtain further information. To facilitate the sound treatment of WEEE, information will be made available for current products upon request. Electrical/electronic products include, for example: Intronix Models 2004F, 2024F, 2015F, and Myoguide products.

Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)

Intronix Technologies devices comply with the Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment 2011/65/EU/ commonly referred to as the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive or RoHS, as of January, 2009. The RoHS 2 directive took effect on 21 July 2011, and is required to be enforced and become law in each member state.
