Myoguide DOC: Saves Time, Increases Productivity, and Improves Communication

TORONTO, April 11, 2017 – Intronix Technologies will be launching “Myoguide DOC”, a comprehensive software package designed to help clinicians who inject Botulinum Toxins, such as Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin® to manage their patient’s spasticity and pain.

Myoguide DOC is the first integrated graphics driven patient management system that helps clinicians to document all aspects of their patient’s treatment and outcome tracking, while improving their ability to communicate. Save time, increase productivity, improve communication, and follow patient outcomes.

Intronix Technologies Corp. (https://www.intronixtech.com) is known for producing the Myoguide™ EMG Guided Injection System, which is designed to help clinicians injecting therapeutic Botox like drugs to manage pain and spasticity. Myoguide works like a Geiger counter generating sound and signal display to help clinicians locate the optimal sites to inject medication to provide relief to their patients.

Myoguide DOC electronic medical record software allows clinicians to take control of their patients by documenting exactly what, where why and how, much medication is injected, on anatomically accurate graphics. This provides an “at a glance” view of today’s injections, as well as being able to show previous treatment encounters, colour coded by date.

Clinicians can select from a collection of existing spasticity syndromes with anatomical graphic panes, or create their own. A library of pain, spasticity, and capability assessment questionnaires are built in to allow clinicians to assess, and track each patient’s state of health over time. Results are presented in graphical format on each patient’s home page.

“Our market research supports DOC will be an essential tool for continuous patient management. Providing treatment records at a glance, patient outcome tracking, and report writing makes DOC a powerful tool.

We are very fortunate for the opportunity to contribute another element to help clinicians who are treating patients suffering from pain and spasticity. Clinicians using DOC, will have an easier time seeing how patients are progressing,” says Dr. Evan Friedman, President of Intronix Technologies”.

Myoguide DOC is a robust, environmentally friendly solution designed for medical practitioners looking to substantially eliminate paper from their practices. DOC can redefine patient care by offering tools with flexibility and scalability for doctor driven workflow that can lead to improved patient care. This simply could not happen in the old paper-based world.

“We are always pushing to innovate and build a better tools. Promoting and supporting innovation in the healthcare software sector is essential to improving patient and community care,” said Dr. Friedman. “We will continue working with healthcare providers with vision and integrity, so we can all benefit from a more efficient health care delivery system.”
