New Products in R&D

Intronix is always at the forefront of technologies, researching and developing new products.  Intronix has developed technology to be used in a number of wireless EMG devices designed to assess, target and follow-up treatment of a number of muscle based problems.

We have also been working on a new line of devices for Sleep Studies.

Intronix Myoguide Drug Injection Documentation Software

Myoguide is ready to go!  Our FDA 510(k) is in process.  We have started work on an injection documentation software package.  This is the beginning kernel of the fully blown Myoguide Plus Software. This version of the software is a stand alone treatment documentation package.  It will provide a standardized documentation for all patients receiving treatment.  We are working to incorporate patient information, pain and spasticity indices, injection sites, efficacy evaluation, report writing, etc.  Check our BLOG  regularly for updates.

Intronix Myoguide+

Myoguide+ is part of the Intronix EMG amplifier family.  We have made some progress integrating a needle EMG guided injection capable channel with four other EMG/ Sensor channels, in a handheld, battery operated, wireless device.  We will be incorporating Intronix headstage technology into the EMG section of the system.  We hope to enter into usability studies within the second quarter of 2010.  Check our BLOG  regularly for updates.

Needle EMG Guided Injection Background

Intronix MAP

MAP is an EMG array mapping device developed by Intronix.  We will incorporate 128 wireless EMG channels to monitor large surface electrode arrays.  The notion is to create an instantaneous dynamic mapping system for monitoring large areas of muscle.  Applications could include evaluations of back pain, and movement disorders.

This system can be used at rest and in motion.  The doctor can see instantaneous visual renditions of the electrical state of the muscles.  Muscle spasm and hyperactive muscles can be identified and treatment planned.  In fact, in progress assessment can evaluate the results of treatments.  Muscle injuries are impossible to see with X-rays, CT scans and MRIs.  This is where MAP comes in.  We also integrate video synchronization with the collected EMG signal

Intronix SleepView,  Sleep Study device

SleepView is a simple wrist mounted, three modality biometric monitor/data-logger.  SleepView monitors and data-logs, Oxygen saturation, and heart rate, every 4 seconds, for up to 12 hours.  The small wrist watch style device can then download the data via a USB cable to a PC for review by the SleepView software package.  We will display all the data on a scrollable screen and provide user selectable set points to automatically count the number of time each parameter is out of range.  This will provide a simple index for the user to review the data.  This provides a very simple  screening tool meant to illustrate possible periods of apnea during sleep.  The notion is to  providing a simple, and easy to use device for patients to use at home, under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

We are pleased to have received our Canadian Medical Device License for SleepView.  Check our BLOG  regularly for updates.
