University based research support includes support for a 3-year multidisciplinary study to develop a Parkinson's tremor control wearable. Plans to expand this study include funding for an additional 3-year research program to further develop and integrate a high resolution tremor wearable into our I-Engage/ I-Quantify digital health solution. Myoguide™ Injection Guidance System
Myoguide™ is a handheld needle EMG guided injection system. Myoguide™ enables clinicians to see and hear, as well as challenge, the injection sites, before any drug is injected.
Myoguide™ has an integrated EMG amplifier, LCD signal display, high fidelity EMG audio over 10-700Hz bandwidth, a full size speaker, and a powerful, well featured, integrated stimulator that can stimulate using 1.0mA and 0.1mA steps over the full 0-20mA stimulation range.
Myoguide also has convenience features such as AUDIO MUTE and STIMULATION PAUSE to help streamline procedures in the clinic.
Myoguide™ has the most comprehensive features available to clinicians carrying out chemodenervation, or neurolytic procedures in any one portable device.
Myoguide’s 0.1mA step stimulation capability opens up opportunities to use Myoguide™ more extensively for nerve and motor endplate location procedures. This is especially useful as a confirmation device for those using ultrasound for guidance.
Intronix Quantify and Engage™ Apps for Outcome Tracking and Patient Engagement
Intronix Technologies has designed two software applications to provide tools for doctors to measure and track treatment outcomes, as well as, engage patients as an essential part of their treatment. While these Apps can operate independently, the highest potential is achieved when they interact with each other.
“Quantify”, an Android/IOS App, is designed for the doctor’s office. This web-based App is comprised of a collection of well-known and accepted assessment indexes to measure: Spasticity, Pain, and Capability. These elements can be quantified, graphed, and documented over time. This provides an indication of outcomes measured at the point of treatment.
“Engage” is designed for use by patients at home. This Android/IOS App is designed to help patients document spasticity, pain, and capability using visual scales 0-9. Patients can document anytime, in a well-accepted fashion.
Intronix Augmented Reality Toxin Injection Simulation
Prototype development is advancing well
Intronix Technologies toxin injection augmented reality simulation "ARm" is an excellent learning tool to reinforce toxin injection techniques. The lifelike model can be palpated to provide realistic tactile feedback. Augmented reality illustrates the anatomy view of the vital structures of the arm once the injection procedure is started. Target muscles can be selected for each encounter. 3D anatomical views show the target muscle, turning blue when the needle pathway is correct, and green when the target muscle is penetrated. Simulated EMG is present in the background and when target muscles are penetrated with the needle. Different injection approaches can be experienced, without any risk to a live patient.
ARm is the ultimate platform for sharpening injector skills.
Intronix will be developing different simulation platforms for other toxin injections including the head and neck, and lower extremities, as well as models for facet injections and lumbar punctures.
